So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

A port of the arcade game of the same name. Just like the SNES version of Final Fight, the western version of this port saw a lot of censorship.

Region Test Skip

SNES address $C1B82E (USA version) and $C1B80E (PAL version) holds value $4D, which is ASCII for the letter M. This is part of the word "My" used in the story text. The game checks the address on bootup, and if the value isn't $4D, skips the software NTSC/PAL region check (the "This game is not designed for your system" message).

Unused Text

The following strings are unused:

STAGE NO
SOUND NO

Regional Differences

Just like the arcade version, three of the four playable characters had their names changed when the game was released outside of Japan. The enemies also suffered some name changes: the generic green mook was renamed from Nooky to Wooky (as "nooky" is a slang term for sexual intercourse), and the final boss was renamed from Genocide to Scumocide. A new change for the SNES port is the renaming of the Stage 7 boss from Blood to Boots.
