So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Children of Mana is first game of the World of Mana series.

Debug Items

Hmmm...
To do:
Check the names for these items on the Japanese version, and see if there's any other way to get these items than hacking. Also, verify the AR codes for getting these items.

A set of "Ultima" items are hidden in the game. These items are described as "debug" items, use the normal weapon, armor and accessory icons, and boost their relevant stat to the maximum of 999. They can be equipped by any character Level 1 or higher.

  • Ultima Sword: "Debug sword" Boosts ATK (sword) to 999.
  • Ultima Flail: "Debug flail" Boosts ATK (flail) to 999.
  • Ultima Bow: "Debug bow" Boosts ATK (bow) to 999.
  • Ultima Hammer: "Debug hammer" Boosts ATK (hammer) to 999.
  • Ultima Armor: "Debug armor." Boosts DEF to 999.
  • Ultima Ring: "Debug accessory." Boosts INT to 999.
Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.

Evidence of two additional debug items can be found between the descriptions for the gems and the key items.

At 0x3C78111:

For debug use.

Adds 999 HP.

At 0x3C7812E:

For debug use.

Adds 999 MP.

It is currently unknown what these items may be, and whether or not they can be enabled and accessed. The "Have All" Action Replay codes do not add any items or gems with these descriptions.

Debug Maps

These three unused maps can be found in a debug directory on the ROM.
