Developer Messages

At 0x82E84 is... this.

DO I MAKE YOU
HORNY, BABY...

 ... DO I?
O o
,
~~~
LOCOS GATOS...
...MEOW
“LOCOS GATOS” is the Spanish term for “CRAZY CATS”, which explains the “...MEOW” at the end.
Later at 0x83ED4 is a reference to the Britney Spears song Oops I Did It Again.
OOPS I DID IT AGAIN
Debug Menu?
Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
At 0x811BC is a reference to a debug menu.
DEBUG MENU
Defender-debugmenu.png
Make 08006F6C non-zero. Then open up the menu that starts with XGP, hit L to go left to the last option, and you will see this. It doesn't appear that you can do anything in this menu. Notes: 03007A88 should be set to what you put at 08006F6C. This is what gives you the additional option of "Debug Menu." 03007A8C should be 7 instead of 6 (which represents the number of items in the left/right menu.)
