Wooden Wedge

Why make a perfectly good wedge and then not use it?

This wooden wedge can be found in the level's basement at 181.611, -632.694, 2.1635. Odd that it wasn't used anywhere, since it has complete physics data and would have fit perfectly into this level's theme.
