This is a sub-page of LEGOLAND.

This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
There's way more unused sounds and dialogue.

Unused Music

Hmmm...
To do:
Rip all of the unused music.

LLTEST.sty

A duplicate of "LLtheme1.sty".

PIRTEST.sgt

A leftover song from LEGO Chess. It uses the files bar1.sty, bar2.sty, bar3.sty, bar4.sty, bar5.sty, bar6.sty, bar7.sty and bar8.sty.

Style1.sty

A one-note, lone bongo drum.

Unused Sounds

Both of these sounds are from Microsoft Windows, and might have been used as placeholder sounds.

disappointment.wav

A group of people booing.

laughter01.wav

Someone laughing.

OhNo1.wav

A voice saying "Uh-uh". Could have been used the same way Rasp1.wav is in the final, playing when you try to build a ride that costs too much money.

spray or fountain.wav and fountain1.wav (/Legoland.res/sfx/Not Used/)

Extended versions of two sounds used by the game. They are the only sounds in the "Not Used" directory.

we love legoland.wav

A group of children shouting "We like LEGOLAND!". This might have been intended to play when you activate the WELOVELEGOLAND cheat, but it doesn't.

yawn01.wav

Somebody yawning.

You only have a limited amount of bricks to build attractions with. Look at the bar at the bottom of the screen to see how many you have used. When you've used up all your bricks, you won't be able to choose any more rides.

If you change your mind about using an attraction, just click its picture again, and its tick will disappear to show it's not chosen. Then you can choose another attraction instead.

You won't be able to use any attractions that you haven't used in the main game--so the more levels you complete in the main game, the more attractions you'll have to use in the Free Play game.

Once you've chosen all the attractions you want to use, just click the thumbs-up button to play."

OBJLIST2_56.wav:

"You've got the hang of this! To move on to the next level, plant a conifer flower bed--or don't, and keep on playing."

Lesson 3: Power and special rides

OBJLIST3_06.wav:

"That's one."

OBJLIST3_08.wav:

"That's two. Watch those gardeners move."

OBJLIST3_10.wav:

"That's three. Halfway there."

OBJLIST3_31.wav:

"You've done really well! If you want to go to the next task, place this pansy flowerbed for Bob to put down."

OBJLIST3_32.wav:

"Put down the pansy flowerbed to finish the tutorial."

Lesson 4: Mechanics and repairing rides

Lesson 5: Big rides and the Wild West

OBJLIST5_02.wav:

"Better watch out--looks like something's broken in the park."

OBJLIST5_31.wav:

As your last task, build all of the available Western attractions in the area marked out in one corner of the park.

OBJLIST5_32.wav:

Your last task is to build the Western attractions in the area marked out by the cactus plants. Then click the End Level button, or play on.

Level 1: San Francisco

OBJLIST6_29.wav:

That's pretty good work! Now let's wait for two visitors to ride the Boating School.

OBJLIST6_30.wav:

Impressive! Most impressive! That's a brilliant Boating School. Now let's watch some visitors sail the ride.

OBJLIST6_31.wav:

Fantastic! The park's looking great. You can keep playing, or you can place the pansy flowerbed to move on to the next level.

OBJLIST6_32.wav:

Well, what can I say? You really are going to go far. If you place the pansy flowerbed, you'll move to the next level.

Level 2: France and Belgium

OBJLIST7_01.wav:

You've forgotten to link some of the attractions to the entrance.

OBJLIST7_02.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST7_03.wav:

Your rides don't have enough power.

OBJLIST7_04.wav:

You're running short of money. Try to save up some more.

OBJLIST7_05.wav:

You're doing well, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST7_11.wav:

Build a Driving School.

OBJLIST7_14.wav:

It's all going swimmingly, but you need to get more people to visit the Driving School.

OBJLIST7_15.wav:

Everything's going OK. Let's start by putting in some Castle-themed attractions.

OBJLIST7_16.wav:

The park is going well, so don't stop now! You need to add a Castle-themed area.

OBJLIST7_17.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

Level 3: Washington DC

OBJLIST8_03.wav:

That's better! All the attractions will have power. Now you need to build up a park using the correct zoning, and using available elements.

OBJLIST8_04.wav:

Now you need to build up a park using the correct zoning, and using the available elements.

OBJLIST8_05.wav:

The park needs more cash so J.B. can afford to fix the bridges--so save 500 coins.

OBJLIST8_06.wav:

J.P. can't afford to fix the bridges, so you need to save up 500 coins for her.

OBJLIST8_07.wav:

Visitors are getting unhappy. Do you know what to do?

OBJLIST8_08.wav:

Visitors are getting really unhappy! Try adding more plants.

OBJLIST8_09.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST8_10.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST8_11.wav:

You did such a good job repairing the Spider Ride that as a reward, the professor has given you the Crystal Power Station.

OBJLIST8_12.wav:

Wow, that was some slick fixing there! The professor's given you the Crystal Power Station. The park will need to have one for all the new rides you'll be building.

OBJLIST8_13.wav:

The park needs more scenery by the paths.

OBJLIST8_14.wav:

Let's keep Bob busy! Place some more scenery in the park. Remember to put some near the paths.

OBJLIST8_15.wav:

Great, that's enough! It's about time we brought in a new ride. Place the Log Flume down.

OBJLIST8_16.wav:

Good job! Hey, the sun is shining, so let's put the Log Flume down.

OBJLIST8_17.wav:

Don't forget about using track pieces with the Log Flume so it all joins up.

OBJLIST8_18.wav:

If you don't link up the Log Flume, the visitors won't be able to ride round it.

OBJLIST8_19.wav:

Putting in the new attraction seems to have affected the new power stations. Fix them, and make sure everything else in the park is working.

OBJLIST8_20.wav:

Let's take some time to check and fix our attractions. Don't forget the power stations.

OBJLIST8_21.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST8_22.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST8_23.wav:

Visitors are getting hungry. Better improve the hunger level.

OBJLIST8_24.wav:

Aw, my stomach's rumbling! Let's build some more food and drink kiosks.

OBJLIST8_25.wav:

The park has just received warning that a heatwave is coming. Insert more fountains and also introduce waterworks to cool off the visitors.

OBJLIST8_26.wav:

Crikey, there's a massive heatwave coming! What can we do to cool our visitors down?

OBJLIST8_27.wav:

There's not enough visitors on our Log Flume.

OBJLIST8_28.wav:

Let's get more visitors on the Log Flume!

OBJLIST8_29.wav:

To help keep the visitors cool, the park needs a big Boating School. If there is one in the park already, add more water.

OBJLIST8_30.wav:

Let's give our visitors more fun in the sun. Place a big Boating School in the park.

OBJLIST8_31.wav:

Don't forget to use enough water to loop that ride.

OBJLIST8_32.wav:

Great work! But don't forget about looping.

OBJLIST8_33.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST8_34.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed in the park.

OBJLIST8_35.wav:

That's great! Now once ten visitors have visited the Boating School, everyone should feel cool.

OBJLIST8_36.wav:

All these water attractions should cool everyone down.

Level 4: New York

OBJLIST9_01.wav:

You've forgotten to link some of the attractions to the entrance.

OBJLIST9_02.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST9_03.wav:

Your rides don't have enough power.

OBJLIST9_04.wav:

You're running short of money. Try to save up some more.

OBJLIST9_05.wav:

You're doing well, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST9_07.wav:

"Build up the park using ten different LEGOLAND attractions."

A variation of OBJLIST9_06.wav ("Start by building some attractions from the LEGOLAND menu.") which mentions the amount of attractions required. Commented out in the level's objective script.

OBJLIST9_19.wav:

You need to improve zoning with the Castle theme.

OBJLIST9_20.wav:

The zoning with the Castle theme needs to be better.

OBJLIST9_28.wav:

Build at least 15 attractions from the LEGOLAND menu.

Level 5: India

OBJLIST10_01.wav:

You've forgotten to link some of the attractions to the entrance.

OBJLIST10_02.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST10_03.wav:

Your rides don't have enough power.

OBJLIST10_04.wav:

You're running short of money. Try to save up some more.

OBJLIST10_05.wav:

You're doing well, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST10_10.wav:

Looks like the zoning isn't right yet, so keep trying.

OBJLIST10_11.wav:

Build all the Western attractions in the area with cacti around it.

OBJLIST10_19.wav:

I bet some of the visitors would like some ice cream. Don't forget to have the Ice Cream Kiosk in the park.

OBJLIST10_22.wav:

You did such a job so far with the park that J.P. has asked Professor Voltage to give you a new ride.

OBJLIST10_23.wav:

J.P. says, "Don't forget to mend any attractions."

OBJLIST10_24.wav:

Don't forget to keep all the attractions in the park working.

OBJLIST10_25.wav:

I'll reward you with the Driving School if you zone the Adventurers area better.

OBJLIST10_26.wav:

Make the zoning in the Adventurers area better, and I'll reward you.

OBJLIST10_27.wav:

Don't forget that special thing that composite rides have to do.

OBJLIST10_28.wav:

Keep trying with the track pieces till you make the driving school just right.

OBJLIST10_29.wav:

Hmm... What would make the Adventurers zone really successful? It would be even better if you added a Temple Slide.

OBJLIST10_30.wav:

Can you find the Temple Slide? That's going to make the Adventurers part of the park so successful!

OBJLIST10_31.wav:

Visitors in the Western zone are getting hungry. Add more refreshments.

OBJLIST10_32.wav:

Looks like the visitors in the Western zone are still hungry, so keep trying to fix this.

OBJLIST10_33.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST10_34.wav:

Looks like something in the park needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST10_35.wav:

Get Bob to plant some flowers to end the level.

OBJLIST10_36.wav:

Carry on getting Bob to plant scenery.

Level 6: Holland

OBJLIST11_01.wav:

You've forgotten to link some of the attractions to the entrance.

OBJLIST11_02.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST11_03.wav:

Your rides don't have enough power.

OBJLIST11_04.wav:

You're running short of money. Try to save up some more.

OBJLIST11_05.wav:

You're doing well, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST11_16.wav:

Each theme area in your park should have at least ten different objects.

OBJLIST11_34.wav:

"Try and get at least 20 visitors back into your park."

An early version of OBJLIST11_33.wav ("Oh dear, the aliens have taken more rides and now they're scaring the visitors away. Quickly rebuild the park and try to get the visitors to come back.") which mentions the amount of visitors that need to return to the park. The amount specified is different to what the final game requires, at 20 instead of 35. Commented out in the level's objective script.

OBJLIST11_37.wav:

"Wow! You've got a new theme from the Professor! It's the Inca Adventurers theme. See if you can use some of the new attractions."

An early intro for the Adventurers theme, commented out in the level's objective script. The comment on the line before, "THIS TEXT IS SPARE, HAVEN'T PUT IN INTRODUCTION TO ADVENTURERS YET, WILL DO WHEN ARRANGING RIDES NEXT WEEK", suggests it was meant to be replaced with a proper introduction, but ultimately never was. As such, the Adventurers theme is the only one which Jonathan Ablebody never directly acknowledges after it is introduced.

Level 7: London

You've forgotten to link some of the attractions to the entrance. Looks like something needs to be fixed. Your rides don't have enough power. You're running short of money. Try to save up some more. You're doing well, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST12_01.wav:

That last level was really tough, but you did it! The professor's so pleased with his new attractions, he wants you to build an area in the park using all the Adventurers theme attractions.

OBJLIST12_02.wav:

Great work on the last level! Professor Voltage is so pleased with the new things he has found, he wants you to have an area in the park using all the new attractions in the Adventurers theme.

OBJLIST12_04.wav:

"Build a park with at least five attractions from each theme."

An early version of OBJLIST12_03.wav ("First build up your park using several attractions from each theme.") which specifies a minimum of 5 attractions from every theme. The final game requires a minimum of 3 from the LEGOLAND theme, 2 from the Western theme, 4 from the Castle theme, and none from the Adventurers theme. Commented out in the level's objective script.

OBJLIST12_07.wav:

Each theme area should have at least eight attractions.

OBJLIST12_14.wav and OBJLIST12_15.wav:

"Oh dear! The Sensory Coaster has broken down and needs to be fixed."

"You need to fix the Sensory Coaster."

Special versions of the "Looks like something needs to be fixed." dialog for the Sensory Coaster, commented out in the level's objective script. The game uses the regular version instead.

OBJLIST12_20.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST12_21.wav:

The visitors have got hungry! What can we do?

OBJLIST12_22.wav:

Better try and stop the visitors' getting so hungry.

OBJLIST12_23.wav:

Look out for broken rides in the park.

OBJLIST12_24.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

Level 8: Italy

OBJLIST13_03.wav:

Everyone's pretty impressed with the park, but you've forgotten to put enough places to eat. Put some more in to make the visitors less hungry.

OBJLIST13_04.wav:

You've forgotten to put enough places to eat. Put some more in to make the visitors less hungry.

OBJLIST13_05.wav:

Don't forget to fix those rides.

OBJLIST13_06.wav:

Uh-oh! Better make sure that the rides are all fixed.

OBJLIST13_07.wav:

Better make more places to eat. The visitors are getting hungry again.

OBJLIST13_08.wav:

The visitors are getting hungry again.

OBJLIST13_09.wav:

Look out! Something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST13_10.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST13_11.wav:

You need more money. Try and save at least 400 coins.

OBJLIST13_12.wav:

The park needs more money. Try and save at least 400 coins.

OBJLIST13_13.wav:

Wow, you've done well saving all that money! Here's some more Sensory Coaster parts to play with.

OBJLIST13_14.wav:

Great work! You've earned some more Sensory Coaster parts.

OBJLIST13_15.wav:

Don't forget the rest of the Sensory Coaster pieces. See if you can use all of them.

OBJLIST13_16.wav:

Better not forget all of the other pieces.

OBJLIST13_17.wav:

Remember what I said about joining up the ends of the ride?

OBJLIST13_18.wav:

Don't forget looping the ride.

OBJLIST13_19.wav:

Better watch those guests. They're getting unhappy.

OBJLIST13_20.wav:

Looks like you've got some unhappy visitors.

OBJLIST13_21.wav:

The park needs better zoning in the Castle area.

OBJLIST13_22.wav:

The Castle zoning needs to be better.

OBJLIST13_23.wav:

Get J.P. on the case! Something's broken in the park!

OBJLIST13_24.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed by J.P.

OBJLIST13_25.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST13_26.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST13_27.wav:

OK, let's see how good you are. Get 40 visitors into the park.

OBJLIST13_28.wav:

Still not enough visitors. Keep trying to get 40 visitors into the park.

Level 9: Sydney

OBJLIST14_01.wav:

After all that, the professor has lost the attractions! OK, let's see if we can find all the lost attractions. So start with the Miniland Australia.

OBJLIST14_02.wav:

You're almost on the final level, so let's try and find those missing attractions! Start with Miniland Australia.

OBJLIST14_03.wav:

Well done! You've found the first attraction!

OBJLIST14_04.wav:

Great! Looks like beginner's luck. You've found the first lost attraction. Keep going!

OBJLIST14_05.wav:

Brilliant, another one! Keep going! Still lots to find!

OBJLIST14_14.wav:

Wow, you're fast! Keep finding those rides!

OBJLIST14_15.wav:

That was fast! Keep going!

OBJLIST14_39.wav:

The professor's been on his travels again. He's discovered the Egyptian Adventurers theme for you. See if you can use what he's found for you.

OBJLIST14_40.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST14_41.wav:

At this rate, J.P.'s going to need a holiday! She's so busy building new attractions, but the park needs more visitors.

OBJLIST14_42.wav:

Bob's going to need a rest, the rate he's going. The park still needs more visitors, though.

OBJLIST14_43.wav:

Better watch out! Looks like something's broken in the park.

OBJLIST14_44.wav:

Looks like something needs to be fixed.

OBJLIST14_45.wav:

Don't forget to put all the Castle attractions together for good zoning.

OBJLIST14_46.wav:

The park's looking really good! Keep at it! But the Castle zoning isn't right yet.

OBJLIST14_47.wav:

See what happens if you use different plants. Maybe the visitors will be happier quicker. But they seem to be hungry.

OBJLIST14_48.wav:

Now remember, if the visitors are hungry, they won't stay long.

OBJLIST14_49.wav:

That's great! I'm surprised all the visitors can still walk after all that food. Now let's try and make the park REALLY full of visitors.

OBJLIST14_50.wav:

The park is sure getting full, but you still need more visitors!

OBJLIST14_51.wav:

J.P. says maybe, if you try zoning the LEGOLAND attractions better, you'll get more visitors.

OBJLIST14_52.wav:

Wow, that's a lot of visitors! This is going to be the best park ever! But watch out for zoning the LEGOLAND area.

OBJLIST15_02.wav:

Well done! You've got to the last level, so let's build the best park ever! Don't forget to build some dinosaurs.

OBJLIST15_03.wav:

Let's make this park really good, so don't forget to use attractions from all the themes.

OBJLIST15_04.wav:

Keep up the good work! You're doing great, so you'll need good zoning with all the attractions.

OBJLIST15_05.wav:

That's really good! Keep going, but don't forget the zoning. I bet more LEGOLAND attractions would really make the park look cool.

Don't forget that zoning. Have you got enough LEGOLAND attractions?

OBJLIST15_12.wav:

You need at least 15 attractions in the LEGOLAND area.

OBJLIST15_18.wav:

Your Castle theme area should have at least 15 attractions.

OBJLIST15_22.wav:

You should have at least 15 attractions in the Adventurers area.
