So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

You're a builder and your mission is to fix buildings.

Development Levels

A file named level01.dat, stored in the game's directory, contains C code declaring an integer table named level1 (int level1[4000] = {...};). The content of the level is mostly blank, with some floating grounds. This level was probably used in the development of the game to test (and debug) the collision tests and also the player movement. There's also the file lev100.dat that declares an integer table named level0 that is completely blank.

UNDO.WAV sound file

In the game's directory there is a sound file named UNDO.WAV. However, it seems that the file isn't used by the game and the setup program.

Early Sprites

Final Miner2000er used obj sprites.png

Stored in the same bitmap resource of the game executable as the used sprites are these early ones. The early vitriol (bottle) is used in the health bar at the bottom of the screen, but not as an animation frame for the vitriol as a collectible object. The early helmet is used in the game's help file, likely an oversight.

Also present in the above bitmap resource is this sprite, which isn't used at all.

Revisions

Hmmm...
To do:
There may be also some gameplay fixes than only compatibility fixes, and more versions.

Version 1.09, released 2005, contains MP3 music files instead of MIDI files. It also contains some other fixes for better compatibility with Windows XP and recent computers.
