Some leftover debug text is located at offset 0x028898 in the ROM. There do not seem to be any references to most of these strings left in the game; while a couple of these functions are still somewhat intact, the programming for the main debug menu itself appears to have been removed.

Between the string "1P VS 2P" and the copyright strings, there are four more Japanese menu options, which read "player test", "player animation test", "pattern test", and "sound test", respectively. Only the latter two work, selecting either of the first two options does nothing.
