Konami used this title for nearly all of their localized games, which led to much confusion.
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon can refer to:
- The first Nintendo 64 game. Originally Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori ("Dance of the New Peach Mountain Shoguns").
- The European version of the first Game Boy game, included in Konami GB Collection Vol. 3. Originally Sarawareta Ebisumaru ("Kidnapped Ebisumaru").
- The localized version of the second Game Boy game, Kurofune Tou no Nazo ("Mystery of the Black Ship Gang").
The other localized games bear very similar names:
- The second Nintendo 64 game, Goemon's Great Adventure, was released in Europe as Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 2.
- The first SNES game was localized as The Legend of the Mystical Ninja.
- The unreleased complete localization of the PlayStation 2 game is simply called Mystical Ninja Goemon.
