Pokémon Conquest/Unused Graphics
This is a sub-page of Pokémon Conquest.
To do: I seriously hope there's more images than this. Gotta look more into the game. Oh and what does PSL mean? (also the name of the sdat) |
There are an awful lot of unused graphics hidden within Pokémon Conquest. Including some from as far back as alpha builds. All these graphics remain untranslated and unedited in the English releases.

Title Screen Images
Alpha Version Covers
There are placeholder images for the opening sequence and title screen, and are found in the startup directory.
bg_title.G2DR
The text on the bottom portions of both this image and the next image translates as "Alpha Version." The top of this image reads "PSL (Temporary Name)." It's also worth noting that Mitsuhide has Moltres, a Pokémon that never appears in-game, instead of his normal Pokémon, Articuno.
BG_UP_startup_title.G2DR and BG_LO_startup_title.G2DR
These are placeholders for perhaps an earlier build of the game. The image on the left goes on the top screen, and the image on the right goes on the touch screen.
PSL Logo
Within the title directory, in 00_00_parts_logo_up_Dummy.G2DR, is this graphic, which is a simplified graphic version of the working title of the game. The character in the circle says "Temporary."
Pokémon Images
Growlithe appears a few times within the game's graphics folder, though neither Growlithe nor Arcanine can actually be used in the game itself. Was it perhaps intended to be added at one point? The stamp on images 2 and 3 read "temporary."
Note: Some images have been edited to show white pieces of graphic that would otherwise appear invisible in browser pages.

Placeholder Credits Graphics
The credits in the game are all in a series of tiles within StlStaffRoll_Dummy.dat in the stl_staffroll directory. However, there are both the full versions within the game, as well as a bunch of placeholders with nothing on them but the titles of what is to go on them. Some of these graphics also appear twice, but are identified by different names internally.
