PowerBomb_Model.bin = Trocra

I removed the info of that model because it is used in the game. It's the Trocra and is found "at regular intervals around the room that held the first battle between Gorea and Samus, in the Oubliette." -- Hounder4 (T) (C) 13:56, 25 November 2011 (EST)

The fact that it was originally supposed to be a power bomb but is used for something else warrants its inclusion in the article. Mammal Sauce 18:22, 25 November 2011 (EST)
There are plenty of items throughout the multitude of different games that are named for one thing, but are in the game for another thing. I do not think it needs to be included. --Flodarien (talk) 20:06, 8 September 2015 (EDT)
I've added a note about the filename back into the article as it is absolutely relevant to the wiki's subject matter. Mammal Sauce (talk) 02:30, 9 January 2016 (EST)

4 hunters?

Seeing the Intro sequences for the hunters, and that there's a text string that talks about only 4 ships, instead of 6, would that make it possible that there was a time where there were only 4 other hunters in the Alambic Cluster? --Flodarien 13:52, 10 June 2012 (EDT)

E3 Level?

In the archives folder, there is a file named e3level.arc, and when decompressed is a SNDF file. Is this level used in the game at all, or is it left over from E3 2004/2005?

The E3 level is called the "Stasis Bunker" in the game so I think it's used. It probably named as "e3level" since the said room's debut at E3 2004. The same room appears Morph Ball (Type C) mode from the First Hunt demo. In short, the both rooms from E3 and the First Hunt demo are the early versions of the Stasis Bunker. -- Hounder4 (T) (C) 12:09, 11 April 2013 (EDT)

Unused pickup?

MPH Some Powerup.jpg

I don't remember this object, called pick_wpn_missile in the game files, being used anywhere in the game. The regular missile ammo pickups are called pick_ammo_orange. Can anyone refresh my memory if this is actually used somewhere? If not, I'll add it to the article.

Also, in the image you can see the test level from First Hunt, which still partially exists in the final game, in the form of its node/entity files. If you do file replacement to load the model, texture, and collision files from First Hunt, you can see it still works and that all the First Hunt objects were replaced with the equivalents from the final game. I'd like to add this to the article as well. Unfriendlyblob (talk) 04:46, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
