There's this kid on #tcrf that I'm pretty sure he's at most 12, and he was being quite annoying; I didn't see one of the users' PM to ignore him at first, and I was finally pushed to the point to say something pretty offensive. I took it back right away, and even further apologized on IRC, followed by a ban by vaguerant with reason "Take a break."

I truly agree that was uncalled for, but is it really enough for a ban with no set time? I wasn't even warned beforehand, and as I said, I apologized many times right away. I know what I've done is wrong, but it's not like this is a recurring issue (while I do tend to say things I don't mean in the heat of the moment, it's uncommon).

I sincerely apologize for my comment, and I hope someone will realize that I don't mean any harm. I'd at least appreciate some details on the ban.

First things first: it's not a sincere apology if you feel the need to single out another user to splash around the blame for your actions. Everybody gets annoyed, but only you made the decision to react in a completely inappropriate manner with the kind of remark that's 100% unwelcome in the channel. Your remorse is noted and appreciated but another user frustrating you doesn't excuse your choice.
For now, like the kick message said, it's a break. There's not a determined time set on it and my intention at the time was for it to be taken as an indefinite period that would end whenever somebody decided to unban you, probably as a result of some further discussion among the channel ops. As yet, that discussion hasn't taken place, so the length of the ban isn't decided.
Further, I recommend you don't try to push forward your unbanning e.g. as in your actions in the -jp channel. You'll be unbanned (or not) based on when the ops feel you won't bring the same negativity back into the channel, not based on campaigning, which is generally viewed poorly.
Thanks for your understanding. — Vague / Rant 02:28, 20 August 2014 (EDT)
I was only on the -jp channel to at least get some details about the ban, and I was told to wait a few days to "cool down" and then try to ask someone to unban me. It's not like I'm missing much anyways; I just joined the channel today and for the most part it's inactive and not really much more than the wiki itself.
Thanks for responding, though. /* SevenIron (talk) */ string timestamp = "02:34, 20 August 2014 (EDT)"

oh yeah.

can i be unbanned yet? /* SevenIron (talk) */ string timestamp = "12:32, 27 August 2014 (EDT)"

Shorten your obnoxiously long signature and I'll consider it. --BMF54123 (talk) 15:29, 27 August 2014 (EDT)
