Nice work finding where those Tatl hints are used! Come join us here for the Zelda-related branch of TCRF, if you're interested. --GlitterBerri (talk) 21:09, 3 October 2014 (EDT)

Image Guidelines

Please be sure to follow our image guidelines. Images must be taken at a console's native resolution, and the filename must contain the game's title. --BMF54123 (talk) 15:43, 8 October 2014 (EDT)

I'm pretty sure Majora's Mask is 320x240, not 640x480... --BMF54123 (talk) 16:51, 9 October 2014 (EDT)

Okay, I'll take another screenshot at that level then. --JmTsHaW (talk) 16:54, 9 October 2014 (EDT)

SA2 Trial stuff

Awesome job finding the two player stuff and the placeholder screen for SA2 The Trial! If I may ask, how were you able to find that stuff? I'm no good at game hacking, and I'd like to get better. On the topic of SA2 The Trial, I'd like to see if Sonic can be hacked to have upgrades, because that would show us if the demo has the upgrade-related things in place or not, not to mention if the upgrades even work. -- SpiritixSwampert.gif Spiritix (talk) 18:42, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

Hi! Most of that stuff can be found with Cheat Engine if you want to look around the game a bit. As for the upgrades, I'm not sure but I'll take a look tomorrow, I still need to add the poster the soap ones replaced to that page anyway. --JmTsHaW (talk) 19:31, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

Sky Chase enemies

Hi JmTsHaW, sorry If I'm disrupting you again, but do you remember if the planes enemies found in Sky Chase and on the semi-final section of Sonic's Sky Deck have actual names in the game files? I can really use this for the wiki I work on. --Luma.dash (talk) 08:12, 18 September 2016 (EDT)

The textures for them I think are in E_Aircraft, but their names are apparently Hodai or something I think.--JmTsHaW (talk) 09:52, 18 September 2016 (EDT)

Sonic Adventure Tikal Chaos Lines

Yeah, that second picture had the line I heard. I only remembered that the line was about targeting Chaos 0's head. --Sonic65101 (talk) 12:56, 7 October 2016 (EDT)

Sonic Adventure models

Hi JmTsHaW. Could you please tell me how you can extract and view models of "Sonic Adventure"? The models that you extracted like the "Jump Panel", and models of the characters, etc are terrific, and I want to make some research and find some interesting model myself if you know an easy way.--Luma.dash (talk) 15:00, 12 January 2017 (EST)

Model data can be extracted and viewed with SA Tools. Most of the models used in the game are stored within the game's code, and as such, requires in-depth searching and often disassembly of the game's code to locate. Most of the documentation on model locations is directed towards the 2004 PC version, as it's the one that all the modding tools are designed for and there are tools that make understanding the code easier. There is a small list of models in the US Dreamcast version, but the GameCube and 2010 versions are completely ignored. SA Tools comes with tools to automate extraction of data from the DC and PC versions. MainMemory (talk) 15:15, 12 January 2017 (EST)
Oh, I see. Thanks for clarification.--Luma.dash (talk) 15:25, 12 January 2017 (EST)

I think we should elaborate more on the difference in costumes for the characters in SA2 Dreamcast vs. Gamecube

Hi, I was reading about the many different ways costumes are unlocked in Sonic Adventure 2 for the Dreamcast and Gamecube. I think we should elaborate more on it since on the Dreamcast version you could unlock seasonal costumes as well as costumes from Phantasy Star Online. Here's a link on the alternate costumes that are unlockable between each version: http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Outfit#Sonic_Adventure_2 Mr. Kite (talk) 03:26, 14 May 2017 (EDT)

Oh yeah, I forgot about the seasonal ones! I'll get something up on them soon: The seasonal costumes in the Dreamcast version could be enabled by selecting Halloween or Christmas themes that could be downloaded to the VMU just like all the other themes. They were completely removed from the game in SA2B with even their themes being taken out. The PSO ones were the costumes that were replaced by the SA2B ones though.
