Terminology

Please don't use the term "beta" when referring to early builds of games, unless the developers specifically referred to a particular build as such. Use "early" or "prototype" instead. Read the Rules & Guidelines for more information. --BMF54123 15:25, 8 February 2013 (EST)

You are adding info that is not in the final version of any game, please stop and read Help:Contents Thecharrr 15:31, 8 February 2013 (EST)
Again: do not add content that cannot be found in the ROM. This is clearly explained in our rules. --BMF54123 18:36, 2 June 2013 (EDT)

TCRF

Hi there, I see there's some confusion about what this wiki covers. As the guidelines indicate, we presently only cover content that is still found in the code of the final game, but cannot be found during the course of regular gameplay. thecharrr was correct to remove your revision, as the content you added is only found in earlier versions of the game and not the released version. Please review the guidelines carefully before your next contribution, and ask me if you have any questions.

You can also find out how to sign your talk page comments here. Remember, be polite and don't shout! No one has a personal vendetta against you, they're just acting according to the wiki's rules. --GlitterBerri 15:39, 8 February 2013 (EST)

Please read your talk page before contributing again, or you might get banned. It's important to know the rules! --GlitterBerri 15:43, 8 February 2013 (EST)

Naming and Categorizing Images

Please remember to properly name and categorize your images as per the image guidelines. --BMF54123 15:04, 22 March 2013 (EDT)

Did you actually find that logo within the game's data or did you just get it off some website? --From: divingkataetheweirdo 15:39, 2 June 2013 (EDT)

i found it from a site full of mario betas The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vastscatman (talk • contribs)
Uh, that's nice, but you need to make sure anything you add in the future is actually RIPPED from a ROM. Don't just go throwing stuff on pages that you find on random sites. --BMF54123 05:34, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
look i found plants vs zombies things from the plants vs zombies wikia if you want to know where i got the things here: http://www.mariowiki.com/Beta_elements http://plantsvszombies.wikia.com/wiki/Pumpkin http://plantsvszombies.wikia.com/wiki/Vasebreaker and http://plantsvszombies.wikia.com/wiki/Quick_Play The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vastscatman (talk • contribs)
That still doesn't change the fact that you need to verify that it can be found in the game before you add it (and the Super Mario Wiki is a terrible site to be getting information from anyway). Also, could you please follow the rules for responding on talk pages and add --~~~~ after your messages? --BMF54123 05:49, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
NO ONE CAN REFER MARIO WIKI AS A TERRIBLE WIKI THIS WIKI IS MORE TERRIBLE THAN MARIO WIKI [user was banned for this comment] The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vastscatman (talk • contribs)
Hey! For future reference, when the administrators of a wiki tell you to follow the rules, it's best not to throw a tantrum like a spoiled little twat. Loose lips sink ships! --BMF54123 05:51, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
