So very stubbly.

Language Select

Press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right at the copyright screen. After inputting the code, the game will reset. Afterwards, the text will be in Japanese. A Japanese release may have been planned, but for unknown reasons didn't make it outside of the US. However, this could have been because of the Super Famicom already being released in Japan a couple years prior to this game's release, making it redundant.

Those poor scouts. Whatever did they do to you? I could put a racist Japanese joke here, but I'M NOT GOING TO.

Notice the Japanese version's plain white text, as well as using extra spacing for the small symbols.
