Alien Hominid is notable for being one challenging side-scrolling shooter and one of the big mainstays in the early days of Newgrounds. It would later get a console release, making it one of the first Flash games to migrate to bigger consoles. While this version only has one level, it seems more would have been planned.
Unused Sounds
| Sound | File Name | Comments |
|---|---|---|
| sound_shoot | A generic shooting sound. The final game uses a laser shooting sound effect instead. | |
| sound_357mag | This would have been used for the KGB soldiers shooting. None are seen in the Flash version. |
KGB Troops
While no KGB troops are seen in the game, most of their sprites can be seen in the game's data. This includes unique sprites for the copters and the tanks.
