Press and hold down 2 as the Sega logo fades out. While the screen is black, press Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down, Up. Start a new game and a Cheat Mode screen will appear. You can choose what stage to start on, and if you press 2, you'll be granted invincibility. You can still die if the time runs out, however.

Unused Music

The ending theme from the NES version is present, but for some reason doesn't play.

An unused track unique to this version of the game.
