College Football USA '96 is the third EA college football game for the Genesis, the immediate successor to Bill Walsh College Football 95, and the first not only to include all 108 Division I-A teams but also the schools' actual licensed likenesses.

Unused Stadium Names

Much like High Score's NHL 96, almost all teams in the game have their stadiums listed, even though this information is never used in gameplay. However there are spelling mistakes, and one school never had its stadium and mascot defined!

Only teams with notable spelling or other mistakes are listed for space reasons.

Team Arena
University of Florida Ben Hill Griffen Stadium
(should be Griffin)
Georgia Tech Bobby Dod Stadium
(should be Bobby Dodd)
Iowa Kinnink Stadium
(should be Kinnick)
Ole Miss Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium
(should be Hemingway)
University of the Pacific Amos Alonzo Stag Memorial Stadium
(should be Stagg)
Penn State Beavers Stadium
(should be Beaver)
Texas A&M Kyle Field Stadium
(known as just Kyle Field)
Univ. of Southern California Los Angleles Memorial Coliseum
North Texas Stadium
(neither UNT's stadium or mascot are defined; team played at Fouts Field)
