Dance Dance Revolution for Windows is an okay first attempt that bombed commercially because someone in management had the bright idea of selling it exclusively at a store that only operated in a few states in the US. Whoops.

Kinpachi-sensei

The very first image inside the main graphic data file is a picture of Kinpachi-sensei saying はい、みんな注目!!, which means "Pay attention, everyone!!"

There's a very large amount of leftover graphics from several DDR games for the PS1. These include:

Small bumper images for eighteen songs, several of which are not in the game.

A leftover border for save / load messages.

A "How To Play" graphic that isn't used.

Some Lesson Mode leftovers.

Leftover graphics from the PS1 games' Import Song features.

An error message from the console versions that appears if you try to load a custom stepchart from another game for a song that isn't in the disc.

There are dozens of other leftover images in the game, including a picture of a PlayStation Dual Shock pad, various font sets, images used in background animations, Dancemania / Konami Original / Beat Mania logos, and menu options for the custom stepchart and diet modes. Several of these images were saved with an incorrect palette, as can be seen above.
