We could only wish we were playing this right now... maybe...
This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually reached store shelves.

Dream Team Basketball was developed by Anvil Incorporated and meant to be published by U.S. Gold. A build from June 18, 1996 was released by Hidden Palace, as part of Project Deluge. The most likely reason for the cancellation was U.S. Gold's acquisition and subsequent closure by Eidos Interactive in April of 1996, who then decided to not continue the project. The game is at a fairly early state, with slow paced gameplay, sluggish load times, minimal audio in the form of a few sound effects and unfinished AI.

Unused Sounds

As mentioned above the game has very minimal audio, only using a few sound effects during gameplay. Four short clips for an announcer are still in the files though.
