So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Stadium Events is one of only two games in the Family Trainer series (the other being Athletic World) that were released in North America. Nintendo purchased the North American rights to the games and the Family Fun Fitness mat (which was rebranded as the Power Pad) in 1988, and both games were immediately recalled and destroyed.

Although only about 200 copies of Stadium Events are believed to exist, the game can still be found rather easily under its much more well-known title World Class Track Meet.

In addition to the logo and text differences, Running Stadium has a dark blue sky whereas Stadium Events has a light blue one. The Japanese flags were also replaced with US ones, the colors of the stadium background were changed and the whole thing was moved 2 tiles up to accomodate the longer copyright text.

While Stadium Events uses a logo in the same style as the one in Running Stadium, World Class Track Meet uses a completely different logo, and reverts the background color to that of the original game while keeping Stadium Events' text, which is now colored white instead of dark blue. The stadium colors were changed yet again, and everything was moved down 1 tile to accomodate the shorter copyright text.

The Tournament opponent swapped species, and some awkward English was cleaned up, alongside the text being moved down.

All mentions of Bandai were scrubbed out for World Class Track Meet.
