Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series |

This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. |
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article? |
To do: For the dialog, a Notes page will need to be created for each Episode with unedited unused content. 'tis a heavy work in progress. |
A point 'n' click adventure game based off Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Sub-Pages
Episode 1: Tangled Up in Blue "They never did like Mama's homemade dress" |
Episode 2: Under Pressure "Why can't we give love that one more chance?" |
Episode 3: More Than A Feeling "I closed my eyes and she slipped away" |
Episode 4: Who Needs You "There's an empty feeling that you can't forget" |
Episode 5: Don't Stop Believin' "Oh, the movie never ends, It goes on and on and on and on" |
Dialog Files
Note: Dialog files are stored in a .landb file, which is not inherently readable. They have been converted via TTG Tools and are formatted like this:
ID #) Speaker Content
ui_episode_enlgish.landb
In the dialog file for UI elements there exists all of the elements from Batman: The Telltale Series. Along with this, some unused pieces from Guardians are present.
134) Make your way toward the treasure without being seen. 135) Return to the church.
There is no sneaking element to the game and although there is a church at the end of the episode, you never leave it and the notification will never appear.

These notifications will never actually show up anywhere in-game.
211) Hold [Ctrl] and use [Up Arrow] to use Jet Boots!
The game uses Q to activate the Jet Boots by default.
ui_codex_english.landb
In the dialog file for the in-game codex, the entirety of the codex from Batman: The Telltale Series exists, albeit in a different format. The file also contains placeholders with some reasonable warnings about Thanos.
10) Thanos Bad ------------------------ Watch out! ----------------------- He’s really bad.
168) Thanos is bad He is Bad
Earlier, slightly different versions of some codex entries exist in the files. The only notable differences are in punctuation and formatting. For example, here's the file on Gamora:
Unused | Final |
---|---|
188)
Name: Gamora Known Alias(es): None Planet of Origin: Zen-Whoberi Gamora’s the best friend a guy could ask for: She calls me on my BS, she’s always got my back, and she can murder, like, anyone. She’s been part of the Guardians since the beginning and it’s hard to imagine the team without her. She doesn’t talk about her past much, but considering her entire civilization was destroyed by a power-hungry murder-psycho who made her his “daughter,” she’s way more well adjusted than she has any right to be. |
