The song Happy man has an unused Guitar EXTREME chart at DATA1\G00520.GSQ, based on the song's Secret Note EXTREME chart from the original GuitarFreaks game. This chart would later make a playable appearance in GuitarFreaks 10thMIX.

FIRE (Short Version)
A full set of drum charts for the song FIRE, based on the song's Long Version, found in files D2070.DSQ (Basic), D2071.DSQ (Advanced) and D2072.DSQ (Extreme) in folder DATA1. Playable charts for this song would only appear in DrumMania V, and even then, they are different. A very hard chart for CENTAUR. It can be found in D1081.DSQ, which is, strangely, the song's Advanced slot.

Depend on me
An Advanced chart for the song Depend on me, found in D0191.DSQ. Although this song would eventually get an Advanced chart in DrumMania V4: RockxRock, it is different from the one found in this game's data.

Unused Text/Code

Starting from offset 0x380E5C (GF)/0x1E4E5C (dm) in GAME.DAT is a song text masterlist of some sorts (this masterlist is shared with both GuitarFreaks and drummania games.), whereas the new songs start in 0x381401 (GF)/0x1E3FA0 (dm).
Between these new songs, are listed two aforementioned unused songs: POWER OF LOVE (at offset 0x381586 (GF)/0x1E5586 (dm), listed as "Power of love") and YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME (at offset 0x381510 (GF)/0x1E5510 (dm), listed as "You give love a bad name"). These two songs are also mentioned in the game's songlist code, which starts at offset 0x37E010 (GF)/0x1E2010 (dm). However, what they contain is mostly placeholder data.
There's also data for previous unused songs, such as You'll be a man and COSMIC COWGIRL ~ SAY WHAT YOU MEAN (listed as "cosmic cow girl 〜 Say what").
A listing for the song NEWSPAPER also exists, though it is not the one used in the Korean release of PercussionFreaks 4thMIX.

Regional Differences

drummania 4thMIX was released in Asia under the title of PercussionFreaks 4thMIX. While there are no known major differences in the regular Asia release aside from translating the UI to English and romanizing some of the song titles, the Korean release has more different aspects. Regarding the game's songlist, only new differences will be entered in this section.

Songlist

• The song Arigato ne. is absent.
• NEWSPAPER (Vocal ver.) is absent, replaced by the original instrumental version seen in GuitarFreaks 4thMix and drummania 3rdMIX.
• The licensed songs B'COZ I LOVE YOU, DEAR MY FRIEND, Depend on you, MARIONETTE, and STAY AWAY, along with the original song Shiritori, were replaced by instrumental versions.

Crash Handler

• There is a crash handler that has the sourcecode filenames for referencing (like the ones seen in previous mixes).
• "mt_sd.c" is likely to be an abreviation for "Multi Task Scheduler", an in-house module seen in many Konami games of the era.
