This is a sub-page of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade.
This version of the game has similar file structures to Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater. It has some unused features that didn't make it into later versions, such as the unused Encore difficulty. This version has the most finished code for Encore, however it never loads.

These 4 songs were also in development at this time, and were added later. They used to be disabled just like how LINK was, but LINK's was just left there for some reason instead of being deleted.
Encore
The pv_db.txt file also contains a single entry for the Encore difficulty on The Disappearance Of Hatsune Miku.

This entry still remains in further versions to this day and the method to trigger it in Arcade 1.01 has been found.
Encore Mode
The first ever recorded instance of activating Encore "as it was meant to be" (thus, without altering any game files or copying the chart in place of another song) has been with the following pattern:
1. Game is booted online, user logs in 2. Clear Grumpy Waltz on Extreme with a Perfect 3. Clear Nightmare Party Night on Extreme with an Perfect
It is assumed that during the operation days of OG DIVA Arcade cabinets, the remote lockout was enforced from the server to prevent Encore from happening.
According to one of the users of the Japanese imageboard 2ch [1], Encore mode was accidentally displayed at one point in the beta version of DIVANET, the game's online scoreboard service. However, it was removed a few hours later.
On 15/04/2023, a fellow member of Project Diva Modding 2nd, SupaHas found the exact method of triggering Encore Mode. It follows as:
- Perfect two songs in a row which need to have a combined star difficulty of 16 or above.
- This means at minimum, you must perfect two 8s in a row or a 9 followed by a 7.
And yes, you don't have to be offline for this and no databanks or any types of alternations are required.
Further experimentation revealed that perfecting Grumpy Waltz on Extreme twice in a row works every single time because of how you can perfect two 9 stars in a row to unlock Encore mode, even when the game is not online as well. However, that is not a task for the faint of heart, because Grumpy Waltz is among the hardest songs at the time of Arcade v1.01's release.
There's also a leftover file of a Requiem for the Phantasma encore chart in Dreamy Theater 1st, which is 0kb.
Testing with other versions reveals that at least as of Arcade v1.30, Encore seems to be permanently disabled, no matter whether the server-side lockout is enabled or not.
The graphical resources to Encore (difficulty icon, "Encore Stage" indicator) still remain even as of Mega Mix+, as well as the global definition of difficulty level 4 being allocated to it. However, as of right now, there is no way to invoke them deliberately.
