Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade/Version 3.01

This is a sub-page of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade.

This version of the game has similar file structures to Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater 2nd, though Dreamy Theater 2nd wasn't released yet when this version was released. The unused Encore difficulty still has its code from 1.01 in this version as well. This version also has several early files for songs that appear in later versions.

Early Logos

Some songs that weren't released yet have their song images (background, jk image, and logo) in this version of the game. Most of them are complete, however 3 songs have early versions of their logo with a temporary icon in kanji at the top left of the logo. Their background and jk image however, are just Now Printing images.

The final version adds the text "Music, Lyrics & Designed by", and the edges of the logo are brighter.

In actual size, the final version is smaller than the early version, the text "Music & Lyrics by", "Illustrated by", and "mikki" was added, and the edges have a blur effect added to it.

Besides the temporary icon, the only difference in the final version is the edges are darker.

Unused Music

Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder -39's Giving Day Edition-

This song was added in a much later version of the game, though some early files for it exist in this version. The music file in this version is an early version of that as well. Some of the audience sounds is part of the vocals in this version instead of the instruments, and at the end of the song, there's a short static sound that may have been a leftover from the actual concert.

Temporary Ogg Files

Song slots pv_423-pv_427 don't have an actual song yet in this version. However, they have a copy of Look This Way, Baby's ogg (pv_038.ogg) as a temporary song until the songs were chosen for the next contest. In the final, these songs ended up becoming the following:

It seems at some point, Luka Luka Night Fever was going to use sprites at the PV for its logo. In the final, it just uses the star at the stage as its logo, with Tako Luka coming in, holding a sign that says "samfree", the creator of the song. This disabled text was removed in later versions of the game.

An early version of Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder -39's Giving Day Edition-'s PV settings is present. This is close to the final version, however there is minor differences.

• Temporary BPM as 150 (the final is 140).
• Temporary difficulty stars; Easy doesn't even exist for this song in the final, except the dsc file still exists. Final difficulties are 5 (5.5 in Arcade FT) for Normal, 6 (6.5 in Arcade FT) for Hard, and 8 (8.5 in Arcade FT) for Extreme.
• Temporary field data. It's just the stage itself, and only 1 field entry (the final has 92 field entries with different stage animations added to them).
• For some reason there's 2 sabi.play_time and 2 sabi.start_time settings. 17.0's and 73.71's is the regular Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder's song preview setting, and 27.0's and 108.0's is an early version of this one, but ended up getting used in Diva Extend/Dreamy Theater Extend. The final uses 20.0 (play_time) and 148.0 (start_time).
• remix_parent wasn't added yet.
