This set of five traditional tabletop games is notable for Charles Martinet's first in-game performance as the voice of Mario.

Rebranding

Version 1.1, retitled Mario's FUNdamentals, was credited to Brainstorm and Stepping Stone, the respective edutainment divisions of Interplay and Presage.

Aside from the obvious change in the title and its color scheme, both the highlights and shadows of the curtains were made subtly darker.

In the about box, a somewhat off-model Mario was replaced with the one from the title screen, but with wider open eyes and a broader smile.
