Much like its predecessor, the game has a different name outside Japan. It seems as though Infogrames took the game in a more kid-friendly direction.

Stage 4's name, "Space Ocian Colony", was corrected to "Space Ocean Colony".

During the end credits, "THANK YOU FOR PLAY THE GAME" was altered to "THANK YOU FOR PLAYING THE GAME".
