Metroid Prime: Federation Force is a somewhat multiplayer-centric spinoff game set in the Metroid universe that follows the Galactic Federation's quest to eliminate the Space Pirate menace while that bounty hunter is MIA. Notable for being less notable for its actual merits as a game and more for all the vitriol surrounding its existence (after the controversial Metroid: Other M put its parent franchise in limbo for a few years).
