Staff Credits

The game will let you play continuously until Level 99. After you beat the boss, the game will exit to a CONGRATULATION! screen with your final score and high score, complete with border animation.

CONGRATULATION!

After 20 seconds, the screen will then scroll up to reveal the list of staff credits for the MSX port.

After this, the game will reset to the Konami logo and go back to the title screen.

SCC Support - Music and Sound Effects

When TwinBee was rereleased two years later on floppy disk as part of Konami Game Collection Vol. 3, like most games reissued in the series it received new support for the SCC (Sound Creative Chip), a wavetable synthesis chip designed by Konami that adds 5 channels of wavetable audio to the MSX's default 3 PSG channels.

Most titles in the series only had SCC music added, while sound effects still used PSG. However, a select few games on some volumes (Vol. 3 and Bangai-hen) had their audio fully rebuilt with SCC support from the ground up, meaning both music and sound effects utilize the SCC. Additionally, while the music for most titles only used SCC with no percussion added, both music and sound effects for these games were brought in line with how the SCC and PSG are used in other Konami MSX SCC games: the music and sound effects use both the SCC and PSG chips, the latter mainly for percussion in music and enhancement of sound effects.

Note that SCC support was designed specifically for the Konami Sound Cartridge packaged with the MSX version of Snatcher and not the regular version; the SCC is an updated revision that supports up to 5 additional discrete waveforms, instead of only 4 discrete waveforms (with channels 4 and 5 sharing the same waveform) for the standard SCC in other Konami MSX cartridge games. There is also no support for the Sound Cartridge that came later with SD Snatcher, due to different memory placement.
