Blast Hornet

An unused set of vertical boss doors were seen in early promotional screens for Blast Hornet's boss room for a long time before the early prototypes of the game surfaced in 2018.

Cancelled 3DO Version

A 3DO version was advertised in some promotional footage (seen at right) and other printed adverts, only to be cancelled shortly before release.[1]

Unfortunately, by 1996 the 3DO had lost steam, thanks in part to a steadfast refusal to lower the console's MSRP. More notoriously, in Japan it had long since become a popular host for pornographic games,[2] which would have clashed with the intended market for Rockman X3.
