Rockman X3DO

A 3DO version was advertised in some promotional footage (seen at right) and printed adverts, only to be cancelled shortly before release.[1] It's not known how the 3DO version would have differed from the other releases.

Unfortunately, by 1996 the 3DO had lost steam thanks in part to a steadfast refusal to lower the console's MSRP. More notoriously, in Japan it had long since become a popular host for pornographic games,[2] which would have clashed with the intended market for Rockman X3.
