  • 31st August, 2009: First rumours appear of DS successor. Dubbed the "Nintendo TS", it is rumoured to use the nVidia Tegra GPU.[6] (compare those specs to final, seem quite close)

[16:08:02] <Normmatt> people just mistook nintendo's TEG prototypes for tegra units
[16:08:10] <Normmatt> nds and dsi both had TEG units
  • 30th April, 2010: First images appear of 3DS test board[1], mistaken for DS board (name is "Nintendo DS CTR Target Board"[2]).[3][4]
  • 5th June, 2010: Rumours of Tegra DS (TS) quashed.[5]
