Unused Models

One of the game's artists, Thomas B. Olson, posted a number of character model renders he made for the game on his Flickr account. Many of them did not make it into the final game.

Casual Helen Parr

A model of Helen in her casual clothes can also be found in the files which could suggest that a level based around a scene with her in those clothes was planned but as there's no PLY files showing that she would have been a playable character, it's likely that this was cut early on so they never started to develop her into a playable character.

Syndrome

Syndrome never appeared in the final game apart from his younger counter part in "Budddy Pine and Bomb Voyage" despite being the main antagonist in the movie however, his character model can still be found in the final game. It is unknown why he never appeared although he may have been used in "Great Falls", "Save the World" or possibly a mysterious unused level if he was in the final game. As his character model went unused, his appearance in the game is only featured within the movie clips as well as a level being named after him ("Syndrome's Base").

Other Unused Characters

Jack and Violet were going to be used for some level at their house. This Dash model was going to be used for the Late for School level. It's not known what Edna was going to be used for. The henchmen can be seen in early previews for some levels like Violet's Crossing. Mirage was going to be used for Beach Landing, but they only put her voice in there instead. Buddy Pine has a different costume and hair. Frozone was likely going to be used for Apartment Inferno. Elastigirl has a darker costume like the PLY3 Mr. Incredible. The unused Elastigirl might have been something like PLY6A.
