A prototype of Jet Moto 3 was dumped by Sketch the Cow on April 17th, 2021. Dated June 16th, 1999, this prototype build shows the game as it was exactly three months before the eventual release on September 16th, 1999.
General Differences
- Much simpler Pacific Coast logo
- Next, it immediately shows the intro FMV
- Simpler trademark screen
- No music in the title screen/main menu. Different sounds, too.
- Simpler control symbols
- Different race mode/game type order and some selections
- The Track selection shows no visual preview
- After the stage loads, there's no prompt to press X, even though the player must do so.
- Music begins on a delay during the races
