A prototype of Jet Moto 3 dated June 16, 1999 (three months before the game's release) was dumped by Sketch the Cow on April 17, 2021.

General Differences

• The Pacific Coast logo is much simpler.
• The intro FMV appears immediately after the Pacific Coast logo.
• The trademark screen is simpler.
• The title screen/main menu has different sounds and no music.
• Simpler control symbols.
• Different race mode/game type order and some selections.
• The track selection shows no visual previews.
• After the stage loads, there's no prompt to press X even though the player must do so.
• Music begins on a delay during the races.
