This is a sub-page of Proto:Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis).
The 0610 Build of Knuckles in Sonic 2 is the fourth known build of the game.
This prototype, along with the rest builds except the 0524 prototype, is a dump of the Sonic & Knuckles UPMEM chip. To play it, it must be attached to the beginning of a Sonic 2 ROM. Merging these two ROMs emulates the use of Lock-On Technology. The 0524 prototype is the only prototype that can be played individually.
Differnces
The Level Select code in this build is now the same as in the final version.
