Sped up audio

The page says that the audio is sped up 60%. Could it be that they're just stored at a different sample rate? So the 60% speed is like, half the Hz frequency or something? I've seen games which do this if you don't use the correct sample rate. // Foxhack 13:32, 18 August 2013 (EDT)

The game WAS going to use a 512 MB Cartridge, the audio was probaly sped up to make it shorter and files smaller, ingame it would play normal. -Kett
... That's what I meant by the different sample rate. See the bottom of this page. For example, if a 44100hz sample is converted to 11025hz, it'll sound fine at 11025hz, but try playing it back at 44100hz and it'll play back four times as fast. The article says 60% speed, and if we go by the mpeg.bin file that was uploaded by koolaidman to the forum (which was 22050hz) then that means the actual sample rate of those sound effects might be 8000hz. // Foxhack 14:35, 18 August 2013 (EDT)
Oh, okay... I'm pretty new to all this sampling stuff, I'll that I'll get the files uploaded in some time.
