There is an unused 2bpp CHR data block with fonts presumably used for debugging purposes. This fonts also fits with text data encoding used for the early debugging functions mentioned below.

Unused Text

There are old developer code leftovers at the end of system bank after $005900 offset in ROM. There are at least one dev info screen and one error handler screen along with some coding and corresponding scripts. The rest of the code currently overwritten with final game code and data, so dev leftovers completely unusable. But there are still some dev-related texts:

KUSOU KAGAKU DEVELOP SYSTEM
VER 2.18

Starting from $00631F are error handler text leftovers:

ERROR
ADRS
:
SI
  P(X,Y)
  OFFSET
     KEY
VRAMadrs
VRAMbuf
 stepcnt
    CTRL
    STAT
 proadrs
readadrs
    size
 code-SP
 data-SP
      PC
     CMD

At offset $007F80 is a string used as a RAM initialization vector:

KUSOU KAGAKU DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM VER 2.21

And at the very end of the ROM:

*  ApuDrv v1.0 *(C) 1994 S.Isoda
