The game that introduced the limbless wonder: Rayman! Unfortunately, the game was originally released on the rather unsuccessful Jaguar. Thankfully, it was ported to the PlayStation, Saturn, PC, GBA, DSi, and iOS, where it sold more. It did manage to spawn a series of sequels, almost none of which are even remotely related to the first game, and somehow Rayman became Ubisoft's de facto mascot. This game represents the earliest release of Rayman, and as a result, it has several differences from the later ports, notably a complete lack of ice physics, fewer animations, and the fact that the final world, Candy Chateau, has entirely different levels.
