Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation is a Japan-only spinoff game focusing on the Battle Chip Gate hardware which came with the game. Multiple Navis are playable with the Real Operation battle mode.

There is an unused function at 0066EA that freezes the game's internal time and date to the ROM build date at 0EF7B4, instead of fetching it from the Real-Time Clock in the cartridge. This was presumably used for testing. This behavior can be reactivated by replacing the function call at ROM address 005FE8.

Unused Chips

The game contains data of Dark Chips from Mega Man Battle Network 4, but they can't be used. GameShark code 420052D0 6363 00000F00 0001 will add them to the Folder.

Early Menu Descriptions

The game has an archive which contains earlier descriptions used on the main menu. A different version is used in-game.
