Unused Graphics

Copsection Z. That didn't work as well The text graphics ROM was built over Commando's text graphics ROM.
This copyright graphic isn't used there and it's not used here either.
Rb three times for a wish
Like Commando, high score entry letters spin when shot, but the RB character never spins.
Trying to find a way out of this box
A generic spaceship that uses the player's palette. Could have been used in the game's intro.
Persistent little guy
A simple walking robot. It would walk. Presumably on the ground. Look at it go!

Commando Leftovers

Hmmm...
To do:
Get images of leftover graphics.

Some other graphics that were used in Commando are still present in the text graphics ROM.

  • Round count medals.
  • The first two lines of the PGC message.
  • Player and grenade icons (lower half only).

Unused Music

The track played when the final boss is defeated is never fully heard in the game. Around 10 seconds are heard, but the full song lasts 28 seconds.

A hidden message is on the audio CPU, starting at 0x003E. This is the same message that appears in Ghosts'n Goblins.
