South Park: The Fractured But Whole/Unused Graphics
This is a sub-page of South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
An absurd amount of unused/early images can be found in camel/ui/temp assets and some other folders.
An unused icon for Doctor Timothy's also unused playable form.
Unused Class
Remnants of an unused class called Mystic can be found in the files. It appears to have been scrapped late into the game's development, since it has power descriptions and icons. It even has a costume.
Class description: The Mystic calls on the farts of the Ancient Ones to Gross Out foes and heal allies
1st power: Fragrant Violation
Description: The Mystic cups a noxious fart and lobs it onto unfortunate foes for damage, Gross Out, and chance of pink-eye infection.
Short description: Broken wind that inflicts Gross Out.
2nd power: Power Word: Fart
Description: A phantom fart that appears behind a nearby enemy, pulling the victim to the Mystic's side and dealing damage.
Short description: Teleporting fart pushes a foe toward you
This ability resembles the Plantmancer's ability Sweet Scent.
3rd power: Probiotic Portal
Description: Rip an anal fissure in fart-time and swap places with any target. Foes take damage and gain Gross Out. Allies are healed and cleansed.
Short description: Heal an ally or Gross Out a foe.
This ability resembles Tupperware's ability Hot Swap.
4th power: Golgothan
Description: Your greatest trick. Summon an excremental to fight by your side. This shit demon Grosses Out enemies and ultimately explodes in a filth shower.
Short description: Summon a shit demon to battle.
Present in camel/ui/temp assets/power selection are 3 ability icons for an enitity called "shitghost" who would be summoned via the Mystic class' super.
The Mystic class can also be seen in an early cutscene.
Inside camel/ui/temp assets/equipment are 2 images; first is an image of the New Kid, with arrows pointing in seemingly random directions. The second image is of a gut, that was probably somehow associated with the first image.
An image of Mr.Garrison named icon_allies_garrison, which suggests he was planned to be a summon.
A placeholder icon, presumably for equipment, found in camel/ui/images/icons.
A placeholder icon for items.
An unused Jew Scouts guidebook. Possibly related to the cut Human Kite side-quest.
camel/ui/temp assets/filters contains a TON of placeholder icons. Some of them are placeholders for the character creator menu, some are placeholders for the crafting menu, while some just remain a mystery.
Miscellaneous
camel/ui/temp assets/buddy power contains early icons for the New Kid, The Coon, Captain Diabetes, a placeholder sketch, Human Kite, Mysterion, Professor Chaos and Toolshed. What's interesting is that The Coon and Mysterion do not have buddy powers. However, The Coon does have an unused buddy power, called "coon rope." Only the .mpower file remains.
Inside the folder temp assets, an image of a Fidget Spinner can be found under the name placeholder.
Placeholder mission and objective icons.
An image of Cartman (from the Season 16 episode "Faith Hilling") found inside camel/ui/temp assets/pause/appy/coonstagram, under the name test_selfie.
Outro and intro screens
Combat intro and outro screens that might be used as placeholders for enemies who don't have a proper screens.
Unused combat screens for the King boss fight. The final artworks depict the main characters in their Stick Of Truth costumes, not the King. It's possible that the King would've fought alone, rather than alongside the main charaters.
An intro screen featuring The Freedom Pals in front of the police station. In the final game, the only fight that takes place there is the fight against Doctor Timothy and Coon And Friends. It's possible that the 3rd Civil War was supposed to be a normal fight against The Freedom Pals.
An unused outro image that was meant to be seen after defeating the alien for the first time in the Bring The Crunch DLC. In the final game, he just walks away to start the 2nd phase.
2...odd images to say the least. They both have "provoke" and "taunt" in their names, suggesting that at one point Tupperware was supposed to have a similar ability to Super Craig's Shiny Hate Finger ability.
3 screenshots of the first fight with the sixth-graders. What's interesting is that the first ability is different in 2 screenshots. This could imply that you originally strated off with 2 classes instead of one. Or maybe all classes were unlocked for playtesters.
2 very interesting images, which show a PS Vita in the game's artstyle, which suggests that a PS Vita port was considered. These 2 images are the only remaining evidence of this cancelled port.
A placeholder Ubisoft logo found in camel/ui/temp assets.
A dummy savegame icon.
A small pixelated graphic, possibly used in pre-release versions of the game.
An image fo the E3 logo, probably used in E3 demonstration prototypes.
