Unused Models

sundae_smelly

Model Texture (GC/PS2) Texture (XB)
Guess what Squidward, we stink!
SBFBB sundae smelly texture gc.png
SBFBB sundae smelly texture xb.png

An unused model of the Smelly Sundae from the season 2 episode Something Smells. It was intended to be a power-up, and can be seen in pre-release footage on SpongeBob's chair.

It can be spawned into a level as a pickup; the sundae allows SpongeBob and Patrick to run faster and destroy Stone Tikis with a basic attack for about 10 seconds, all while leaving behind a trail of rancid breath. The Xbox version has a higher resolution texture for the model than the other versions, suggesting that it was removed very late into development.

hb02.hop

A row of labeled and less shiny looking shiny objects. The Xbox version's texture is at a significantly higher resolution than otherwise. Strangely, the French PlayStation 2 release gave the texture a proper translation to said language.

Unused Details

Some models have parts of them that aren't normally seen in-game.

squidward_bind_01

I've got a hot date with a little lady, and her name is Clara Net!

Squidward's clarinet is part of his model, but he's never seen holding it or playing it. It can be activated by changing squidward_bind_01 to squidward_music_bind_01 in his NPC settings.
