chaoview

Layers

Since Most Games have Layers the Unknown 3rd Could be what layer it is if its Static. If not Static may be Frames per second. I don't have the game so i can't check. --From:SamuelEarl666 15:40 17 February 2012 (EST)

Er I see — the third value in the debug area. I haven't looked at the disassembly in a while so I can't tell you off the top of my head, but I do know where the code to display everything is, and it's labelled in the IDB file - Andlabs 10:58, 17 February 2012 (EST)

Correct Super Sonic Coloring?

So, in Knuckles Chaotix, there's this Super Sonic sprite which is featured on this page. Chaotix Super Sonic 3.gif Now, it says that the coloring on the sprite isn't what was originally intended. Knowing this, I found this small sprite on a backup of Sonic Team's old (1996, I think) website, which may have the correct coloring: Ssonicchaotix.gif - TheStoneBanana 19:50, 26 December 2014 (EST)

Spriters Resource has unused sprites supposedly from the opening sequence.

To do with the remnants of Tails on Real Hardware

Earlier today I managed to load the Tails remnants without fully crashing. This happened with PAL hardware however I doubt it's a PAL exclusive behaviour. I managed to load the remnants into the Combi slot and load into Botanic Base 5 without it fully crashing, granted it is in a state that I wouldn't call playable as the 32X itself crashed but the Mega Drive didn't so while level geometry existed, new sprites were never loaded but the hitboxes did. -FusionSub
