Earthworm Jim 2 takes the weirdness of the original game and cranks it up to 11. It's long, it's frustrating as hell, and it has no real password system...but overall, it's one of the best games of the 16-bit era.
Pictured here is an early version of the level, "Anything but Tangerines!". At this point, it has a different backdrop and an enemy not seen in the final version, Big Bad Trouble, who belches a transparent, gooey-looking, green ball of gas and then leaves.
