Developer Message
A couple of developer messages can be found within the game. The first is on Track 16, Sector 41 in the Floppy Disk version:
****************
Hi, hackers, welcome to the boot sector of "The Lords of Midnight",
for the Amstrad 464/664. Have fun playing with this disk, although I'm
afraid there's no simple infinite lives poke for this game. Data from saved games
takes up two tracks per game (starting at track game# * 2)
if you want to play with that
----------------More on sector 44
****************
Surely enough, there is more on the same track, but at sectors 44 and 45:
**************** "The Lords Of Midnight" was originally written for the ZX spectrum by Mike Singleton. Amstrad 464/664 conversion by Rick Brown April-->May 1985 Disk version by Rick Brown 1st July 1985 (but 1 last bug left till 6th) Thanx a lot to:- Andy, for playing with it Simon, for saying nice things about it Rachel, for finding the most obscure bugs in programs, even when totally pissed Anyway, have fun playing the game and don't forget to rush out and buy the sequel, "Doomdark's Revenge", when that comes out. bye...
Finally, there's this at sector 46:
this sector is nearly blank!
