Thunder Blade was a 1987 rail shooter released in the arcades by Sega. It was popular enough to receive multiple home ports, including this one for the TurboGrafx-16. A sequel/remix of the game was eventually released in 1989 on the Genesis, titled Super Thunder Blade. The original arcade game was eventually ported to the 3DS eShop as a 3D Classic.
