일본어판에서는 눈보라로 30.1% 확률로 얼릴 수 있다. 현지화판들, 포켓몬 스타디움 및 일본어판 피카츄는 콜로세움 2 모드에서 플레이할 때 10.2%로 줄어든다. 영어판 옐로의 책자에서는 콜로세움 2 모드에서 눈보라의 얼리기 확률이 줄어든다고 잘못 설명되어 있다. 이러한 사실은 일본어판에서만 해당되며 레드·블루에서는 이미 10.2%로 감소한 상태이다.
