Enter DLVTRKBBRD as a password, then during gameplay, hold Select and press A. Use the D-Pad to move Turok around, then hold Select and press A again to place him (note that he'll get hurt if he's placed too high off the ground, and sometimes he'll go right through the ground and die).

Sound Test

Turok 2 GBC Sound Test.png

At the title screen, highlight Options, hold Up (now highlighting Start) and press Start.

The sound test seems to be just a leftover from the original Game Boy engine. The menu option texts are empty in both games, but in original Game Boy version they filled with some special background event via RAM buffers, so they are visible. The base of the code is left in the Game Boy Color version, but there are no background code or text to display music titles, so this code doesn't show except it may show some garbage after a couple of attract cycles. Press Up / Down to toggle between Music (upper) and SFX (lower), press Left / Right to choose a track, and press Start to play it.

Debug Leftovers

Use the Game Genie codes 007-0AB-80A+007-0BB-E61 (for the US version) to re-enable the frame advance mode instead of the pause mode. Press Start to toggle this mode on or off. When on, press Select to advance the game frame by frame.
