Stage Select
This game's stage select is rather cumbersome to access. To get to it, wait for about four seconds at the Interbec logo, then during the remaining one second or so, press:

If performed correctly, the stage select screen will appear after the opening cutscene when starting a one-player game.
As an alternative to the button code, the Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 7E012F01 does the same thing (and is a little easier to use).
