The Fire Temple Chant in Ocarina of Time (aka Welcome to [Japanese Video Game] Music Sampling)

The Arabic chanting in the first versions of OoT is actually a sample that originated from Best Service's sampling CD "Voice Spectral Vol. 1", that (unintentionally?) was a recording of the Islamic Adhan and/or the Quran (specifically the Sura (chapter) Al-Ikhlas), and was apparently preemptively removed before commercial release once Nintendo was made aware of the fact, in order to avoid controversy.

The very same sample appears in other games, such as Crus'n World, King of Fighters: Neowave and, most infamously, Kakuto Chojin. --Uno10 (talk) 12:52, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
