Arguing with admins

Protip: Don't create a page in the main namespace to argue with an admin. Take it to the talk page or IRC instead.--Henke37 15:36, 4 July 2013 (EDT)

Pointless

What was pointless? I read the rules and i dont know what to put on here or not. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nymphia (talk • contribs)

Here are some examples of what not to do:
  • Assert guesses at information you have no real knowledge of
  • Add in made-up or false information
  • Add only meaningless text to articles that adds no information
  • Add "placeholder" articles with no real information or proof of information
  • Revert moderator actions
What you can do, however, is contribute valid information or resources. If you see an article that has no pictures and needs them, you could play said game and provide the images it needs. If you see a game with features that haven't been described very well, such as a big fancy debug menu, you can try messing around with it. You might not always learn anything, but you also might discover something really neat that the page doesn't yet mention. --Peardian 11:22, 7 August 2013 (EDT)
Fine. Oh how do you acess Options Mode in Sonic 2? I want the debug mode. Cactus.com. The search engine for all cactuses from SM64 12:24, 7 August 2013 (EDT)
Why don't you try reading the article? You won't be able to contribute anything if you don't put at least some thought and effort into it. --Peardian 13:48, 7 August 2013 (EDT)
